Azita Ghanizada Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in various television shows. She is an Afghan American actress that was raised in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing the country she was born in, her family moved into in the US. They were granted asylum and allowed to stay. She is the middle of of two siblings and was brought up in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her on-air camera career by being featured in several National Commercials. Ghanizada was awarded the award in recognition of her role of Chiara who was the lead character of Laura Neri's 2004 movie A Kiss on the Nose. The TV shows she guest starred in comprise How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells, NUMB3RS bones, Psych and Castle. The most recent role she has played is the role of a supporting character on the show Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science-fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her acting career in 2008 when she was cast actor on General Hospital's Primetime spinoff General Hospital. As she played Dr. Saira Bhata, an expert in holistic health care on Night Shift's second season. Ghanizada played Kelly who was the Prada character on HBO's Entourage. She also joined the crew of the television show's pilot Tough Trade created by Weeds creator Jenji Kuhan, as well as executive producers T Bone Burnett.
